mainstage theatre at the e.o. bull center
Located in the E.O. Bull Center for the Arts, the MainStage Theatre is a unique and intimate theatrical space. The thrust layout of this venue brings our 160-member audience closer to the action during the students' final performances. Acting classes will be held here daily.
CLASSROOM FACILITIES at the E.O. Bull Center
Improv courses will be held in the J. P. Adler Studio Theater in the E.O. Bull Center, an intimate black box theatre. Classes in voice and dance will be held in our well-lit and welcoming large acting studio, which feature full-length mirrors and ergonomically friendly flooring. Courses in theatrical design will be held in the state-of-the-art design classrooms or the lighting laboratory.
There will always be a safe area for your student to leave their belongings, although we do not recommend that Young Company students bring their valuables to camp. (The best learning happens without smartphone distractions, and we aim to be a technology-free zone whenever possible).
All Young Company students must provide their own lunch daily. There will be a refrigerator and a microwave available for their use.
Pre-College Intensive Facilities
Students in the Pre-College Intensive make use of the full WCU campus, which is beautiful and welcoming. Our dorms are in Commonwealth Hall, a modern suite-style apartment building, and we eat meals at the brand-new dining hall The Commons.
