Liz Filios
Voice and Movement Instructor
Liz Filios (she/her) is a Philadelphia-based actor, musician, sound designer and teaching artist. She works in a variety of forms, including folk music, opera, cabaret, and musical theatre. She has performed locally at the Arden, Wilma, Walnut Street Theatre, Delaware Shakespeare, People's Light, The Lantern, Act II Playhouse and Theatre Horizon, and regionally with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, South Coast Rep, The Folger Theatre, and Miami Light Project. Liz holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. She studied voice and movement at Canada's National Voice Intensive, and opera in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy. Ask her about her performances in other countries like Japan, Indonesia, India, South Africa and Venezuela.
Liz is soft-spoken, warm-hearted, and deeply compassionate. Her classes will have you stretching and moving, listening to your breath and your body, and will allow you to find your own voice.
