Rachel Camp
Voice and Movement Instructor, Pre-College Intensive

Rachel Camp (she/they) is a Philly-born actor, singer, dancer, musician, and teaching artist. A powerful, sensitive, and empathetic performer, teacher, and community leader, she graduated with a B.F.A. in Theater from Montclair State University and has worked primarily in the Philadelphia area, with recent professional credits at Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Opera Philadelphia, Walnut Street Theatre, Theatre Horizon, 1812 Productions, and Team Sunshine Performance Corporation.  In addition to performance experience, she has worked as a director, choreographer, educator, committee facilitator, and producer.  Ask her about her time as Professor Bazzleby at a magical academy for young witches and wizards, or that other time she flew during a pandemic to appear on America’s Got Talent.

Rachel’s classroom is a great balance between silly, creative, explosive joy and rigorous practice. Her classes will have you stretching, moving, laughing, and finding the ways to truly “see” and explore your own body and voice. She believes in summer camp as an important artistic home for community, creativity, and zeal.
