Ezra J. Ali-Dow (he/him) is a professional teaching artist, actor, and scenic designer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Previously he has worked with the Arden Theatre Company’s Design Camp, Curio Theatre Company’s Summer Camp, and at the Wilma Theater’s Portable Studio and Wilmagination programs. He is proud to be returning to Pennsylvania Theatre Institute for a third year. As a teacher, he specializes in acting, scenic design, mask-making, and movement. Ezra has been a set designer for Pulley and Buttonhole Theatre Company, Shoebox Theatre Collective, The Strides Collective, and several projects in his Graduate program. Ezra has been an actor with Shakespeare in Clark Park, The Reading Theatre Project, Philadelphia Artists Collective, and Flock Theatre Company in Connecticut.
Ezra has recently completed a Masters’ Degree in Performance at SCAD (Savannah College of Art + Design). Ask him about his ever-growing volleyball hobby!
