Paige Whitman
Acting Instructor, Young Company
Paige (they/them) is a professional theatre artist, teaching artist, and actor based in Philadelphia. They are also a proud West Chester University alum with a BA in Theatre. Paige has worked with Delaware Theatre Company’s “Summer on Stage” and has also spent previous years working with Pennsylvania Theatre Institute here at WCU. Recently, they have been an actor for Azuka Theatre Company in Philadelphia, assistant director for Inis Nua Theatre Company, and performed with The Farm Hill Players at Winterthur in Delaware. They also have experience with puppetry, the improvisational Italian theatre form known as Comedia dell'arte, as well as both short and long form improv. Ask them about the funniest thing that’s happened while performing outside in an Italian town square!
Paige is silly, thoughtful, and dynamic. In their class you will be encouraged to let go of negative judgements, embrace possibilities, and learn to be both a giving and receptive force for your fellow performers to rely on.
